Black tea could help you shed those extra kilos…!!!!

Grab a cup of black tea, say scientists who have found that the beverage may promote weight loss by encouraging growth of metabolism-boosting bacteria.
Researchers at university of California, gave different groups of mice, different diets -two of which were supplemented with green tea or black tea-extracts!results were studied at length.
The new study shows that black tea polyphenols which are too large to be absorbed in the small intestine, stimulate the growth of gut bacteria and the formation of short-chain fatty-acids, a type of bacterial metabolites that has been shown to alter the liver’s energy metabolism.
The results suggest that both green and black tea are prebiotics, say the researchers.
