Scientists have found that MS maybe identified atleast five years earlier as patients were more likely to be treated for nervous system disorders related to pain or sleep.

In the extensive study conducted involving many MS patients, ‘Fibromyalgia- a condition involving widespread musculoskeletal pain was found more than three times in MS patients as compared to others.
Irritable bowel syndrome was almost twice as common in MS patients.Migraine and any mood or anxiety disorder which includes depression, were also found in higher rates among MS patients.
